WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN AACE?
Are you an AACE member? If not, consider the following reasons for becoming a
member of
AACE International, your professional association:
1. To Learn. AACE International provides many learning opportunities. Publications and
technical
sessions are available covering almost all aspects of your job.
2. To Meet. The opportunity to meet fellow cost professionals can be the most rewarding
part of
AACE activity. Discussing common problems with others can be very beneficial to both
you and
your employer.
3. To Grow. AACE membership can increase your self esteem and stimulate personal
growth just
as an investment can produce monetary growth. Commitment and "interest rate" are key
factors
in personal growth and development. Becoming certified and keeping your certification
valid are
specific examples of personal growth aided by AACE activity.
4. To Improve. Enhanced knowledge, skills, and abilities are almost certain to be the
result of
active AACE involvement. Such improvement can be reflected by greater interpersonal
skills, a
higher salary, and expanded job opportunities.
5. To Share. AACE membership is not a one-way street. Being able to share your ownexperiences and to help a friend solve a problem you have previously faced and solved
can
provide very high levels of personal reward and satisfaction.
***************
The advantages of AACE International membership far outweigh the reasons for not joining.
Invest in yourself now or later you may regret it.
